• Account data: Name, mobile number, email address, date of birth, gender
• Profile data: Religion, caste, kulam (sub-caste), mother tongue, education, occupation, income, height, complexion, marital status, and family details
• Horoscope data: Birth time, birth place, star (nakshatra), rasi, dosham status, and jathagam details
• Photos: Profile photos and horoscope images you choose to upload
• Contact preferences: Phone visibility settings, address, city, district, and country
• Partner preferences: Age range, height, religion, caste, education, occupation, and location preferences

1.2 Information Collected Automatically

• Device identifiers (Android device ID, OS version)
• App usage data (screens visited, features used, session duration)
• IP address and approximate location (country/city level)
• Crash reports and error logs

1.3 Information from Third Parties

• Truecaller: If you choose to sign in with Truecaller, we receive your verified phone number, name, and profile photo from Truecaller with your explicit consent. We do not receive your Truecaller contacts list.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To create and manage your matrimony profile
• To show your profile to other members whose partner preferences match yours
• To suggest compatible matches based on your preferences and horoscope compatibility (star matching, dosham)
• To facilitate communication between interested parties (subject to your privacy settings)
• To verify your identity and prevent fraud
• To send you match alerts, messages, and service notifications via push notifications and SMS
• To improve our matching algorithms and Platform features
• To comply with legal obligations

3. Your Privacy Controls

We are built around privacy. You have meaningful control over your data:

• Photo privacy: You can hide your photos from members you have not expressed interest in
• Phone number: Your mobile number is never shown publicly; it is revealed only to members you choose to connect with
• Horoscope: You can choose whether to display your horoscope details or keep them private until you match
• Profile visibility: You can deactivate or hide your profile at any time
• Data deletion: You may request deletion of your account and all associated data by contacting us

4. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only in the following circumstances:

• With other members: Your profile information (per your privacy settings) is visible to other registered members of the Platform
• With your family/guardian: If you designate a family member to manage your profile, they can view and edit your profile on your behalf
• Service providers: We share data with trusted vendors (cloud hosting, SMS/OTP services, analytics) who process it only on our behalf under strict confidentiality agreements
• Truecaller: When you use Truecaller login, your app authentication token is verified with Truecaller's servers. No profile data is sent to Truecaller beyond what is required for verification
• Legal requirements: We may disclose information when required by law, court order, or to protect the rights and safety of our users

5. Data Retention

We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete or anonymise your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law or for legitimate business purposes (such as fraud prevention records).

• HTTPS encryption for all data in transit
• Encrypted storage for sensitive data at rest
• Access controls limiting employee access to user data

Our Platform is intended for users aged 18 and above. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If we become aware that a minor has created an account, we will delete the account immediately.
